wool felt coasters

The holidays are coming up, so we've been cooking some simple and lovely holiday gift ideas.

2 sheets of wool felt will make nine 4"x4" coasters

Cut the felt into 4" squares. A rotary cutter will make this fast work, but you could use scissors and trim the squares into shape if you don't have a rotary cutter.

Pin two squares together and quilt. Trim again if you need to, and then top stitch around the edges to keep everything together.
